About a year ago today I was at the tail end of a 3 week recovery from having septoplasty and a tonsillectomy.
Such a painful, painful 3 weeks of my life. And claustrophobic too. I couldn't even eat to comfort myself because my tongue was too swollen to move and my throat was too sensitive.
That being said. I am thankful it is over and done with and I have had a full year of awesome breathing and swallowing! Before my surgery I could only every breath out of one side of my nose at a time, if that. Now, even when I'm sick, I can breathe through both nostrils.
It may have been painful, but it was so worth it. I sleep so much better now. Allergy season isn't as killer. Colds don't rock my world nearly as much as they used to.
Thank you modern medicine!!!
I was happy to see your campout experiences. Reminded me of Ann's and my younger years!!!! Glad your nose is still doing well. Sounds like your nose job was far more successful than mine! Thinking of you guys a lot lately! Finish out this round of schooling strongly and then relax a little!

That is really great. The more promptly you can be done with remedies, the better. They can inconvenience, or at least perturb you, but the rewards for the long haul is what you should always look forward to. A few cuts and phases are mere turns in the way, and not the entire destination, so yeah, people balk at nose jobs, really.

That’s the sweetest letter, ever! I hope that you recuperated quickly from surgery, so you could join your friends in consuming those sweet goodies. Take care, and I hope that’s the last major surgery you’ll have to go through.
